Health Services Center is beginning two new projects which are funded through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

The HOME Project will be funded for five years and will focus on a population with severe mental illness and coexisting substance use who may have limited housing resources.
The ROAR Project will be funded for three years and will focus on medication-assisted treatment. Both projects will be located in the Gadsden area.

We are looking for counselors who have obtained ALC or LPC licensure or are willing to obtain these within two years. These positions will require a Master’s Degree in Counseling and/or related field with at least two years supervised experience in substance abuse.  Must be able to read, comprehend and respond to written English communication as well as hear and understand verbal English.  Ability to speak in public.  Must possess valid driver’s license.
