Project Vortex
Project Vortex was funded by SAMHSA in October of 2010. The five year project from the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) provides intensive prevention services to N.E. Alabama, especially communities of color, with a focus on young adult females (19-24 years) and their partners, who may be at risk for substance abuse and HIV infection due to risky drug use or sexual behaviors.

NMP- The New Media Project-2013
The Health Services Center Inc. “New Media Project” (NMP), will enhance current Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) prevention programs in N.E. Alabama by using interactive social media and technology tools in the dissemination of behavioral health information, especially substance abuse (SA) and HIV prevention messages, in minority communities.
